Alex got his degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (go Badgers!) in Exercise and Movement Science. Always active as a kid, he wanted to help bring the joys and benefits of physical activity to all he met and so he became a certified personal trainer. Always wanting to help more people, he discovered the group model in CrossFit. Seeing the profound impact that it had on people's lives, both mentally and physically, he knew that his purpose in life was to own a CrossFit gym. Two years ago, that opportunity came about and he has been captain of the CrossFit Alacrity ship ever since.
